First premiering in 2013, the 2nd production of Rites of Passage is planned for June of 2020

with a focus on the lives of women of color 

in America.

The long-term intention of the Rites of Passage Project is for it to become a kind of 

Vagina Monologues for the new century

through which women around the world can create original, localized performance-installations specific to the needs of their places

and communities.
