RITES OF PASSAGE is...
A ritual art house,
A living museum,
A home of belonging, healing & remembrance,
And, a community celebrating women's lives
& initiations from birth through death.
Each 'ROOM OF CURE' in the house represents a rite of passage using ritual performance, installation & multimedia artwork.
Beginning as live, public events, our work continues to live on virtually, in film, & eventually in print in the RITES OF PASSAGE book.
Collaboratively created by women from diverse backgrounds, ages & ethnicities,
RITES OF PASSAGE is
a living, breathing invocation...
for the healing of our lineages,
the weaving of our many colors
and a fertile future for the generations to come.
Together, we are housing
THE COLLECTIVE FEMALE SOUL
I Never truly acknowledged the fact that I was female until about the 2nd room, and realized maybe its not so bad as I thought.”

OUR COLLECTIVE FUTURE IS WOVEN
BY THE STORIES WE TELL...
Creativity is not a solitary movement. That is its power. Whatever is touched by it, whoever hears it, sees it, senses it, knows it, is fed. A single creative act has the potential to feed a continent. One creative act can cause a torrent to break through stone.”
