*Open to cis + trans women, BIPOC-centered

 

Are you an artist and creative thinker looking to diversify the stories shared about women and femmes? Do you want to gain experience in site-specific experimental theatre, and arts + activism? We are looking for select interns to support the Rites of Passage 2020 production team with their varied creative and practical responsibilities. Experience a nourishing, holistic working environment made up of diverse professional women and femmes of color working together to create not only a ground-breaking piece of multidisciplinary art and theatre, but a revolutionary intersectional WOC-centered feminist collective.

 

As one of our interns, you will work closely with concept-creator and artistic director Pooja Prema, and other phenomenal WOC and women in their fields.

On site, you will work with closely with Z Estime, our intern support person, as well as other members of our production team. Together, you will assist the creation of all new multi-media installations by women + femme artists of color from around the country.

 

Virtual Internships include sending emails, virtual tracking and potentially helping to run our crowdsourcing campaign in the Spring of 2021, and assisting our other Production Team members with their project management areas.

 *Virtual internships include a negotiation of a stipend after an initial 3-month period.

 

*On-site Internships include a stipend of up to $500 + housing if coming from afar.
